Front design - Changing cupboard

A piece of design from the swedish design group Front
A constantly transforming cupboard built out of turning advertising signs.
"In our new collection FOUND we have put together different ordinary already existing things and changed some details. We have let the small characteristics within one object become the essence of the new product.
We were interested in looking at the relationship between the new designed objects and old existing objects. What differentiates objects from one another within a category - were does the found object end and when is the product redesigned? Recognition is part of the in understanding of a product; design is influenced by and built upon already existing objects and ideas."

Acne jeans (but not only)

Everybody knows the Stockholm based brand Acne Jeans and their now cult...jeans.
But their ready to wear collection also really deserves a look !
Great ultra light jersey, casual inspired coats and jackets, great chunky knits, creative pants, and a slhouette somewhere between workwear and swedish minimalism. Very modern in a word.
they also developp a line of accessories from easy trainers to sculptural high heels (they do!).
They also founded the "Acne Collective" with
Acne Film - a film production company
Acne Creative - an advertising and design agency
Acne Digital – a digital production company
Acne Paper – a bi-annual magazine
"There are, forever, buildings to be made, music to be composed, art to be created, clothes to be designed and photographs to be taken. But high speed can make for wrong turns, and short cuts can come out the wrong place. Inspiring are those who break free to find a richer soil in which to create."

Sweatshirt addict

Artysm is a french brand of "arty streetwear".
the project is named TOC (compulsive obessive trouble)
" today, as the "fashion industry" is dressing up the masses, we want to dress up the person, someone, a friend..who will recognize himself through our clothes"
Each sweatshirt has a name :
- Valentin never goes out without his hood
- Anto has a fragile neck, he always need a scarf
- Loic rolls up his sleeves but doesn't like short sleeves
- Nico is a kleptomaniac, he needs huge pockets
The basic sweatshirt is mutating to fit their obsessions.
Since there's a real buzz around streetwear/sportswear and sweatshirts in fashion, this just the right time to talk about TOC !
